I have enjoyed over 15 years in Customer Service and Office Management. I'm thrilled to be able to draw on a wide variety of industry experience in Management, Marketing and Office Management with industries ranging from Event Coordination, IT, Health and Fitness, Spa and the Medical/Surgical field. I am thrilled to have been given the opportunity to be a part of the Miracle - Ear team and joined the team January 2018, relocating from Atlanta Georgia to come on Board.

Credentials

I attended Georgia State University as a Religious Studies Major. I spent 5 years as a Life Guard training Instructor and am CPR and First Responder certified. Through the years I had the opportunity to take numerous continuing education classes and earned certificates in Customer Service, HR, Team Building and Management. As a new Sales Assistant for Life Time Fitness I was awarded Sales Rookie of the year for the South East Region after a 4 year career as their Member Services Department Head.

Favorite part of working in Miracle-Ear

My favorite part of working for Miracle-Ear is the people. Whether it's the staff I work with or the patients we serve I'm thrilled to be surrounded by such caring and compassionate people. Not much makes me happier than to have someone leave with their new Miracle-Ear hearing aids, and saying "Have a great day!" and having the patient just gleam with joy as they say "I heard that!!' It truly is a gift to be able to be a part of enhancing someone's life in an immediately measurable way.

Professional experience

I began working with Miracle-Ear in 2017, but have worked in the Tulsa area since 2005. In that time I've helped to fit thousands of patients in and around the Tulsa area. I have 14 years of experience as a Hearing Instrument Specialist.

Credentials

I'm certified to fit hearing instruments in Oklahoma and have been since 2005. Since then I've striven to attain the best skills and training available under some of the nations top professionals. For years I have trained many of the Tulsa's top specialists in this field. I was, for two terms, President of the Oklahoma Hearing Aid Dispenser's Association, which has had Audiologist, ENT's and Hearing Instrument Specialist as members. I continue as an active member.

Favorite part of working in Miracle-Ear

The feedback from the customers that we fit is certainly my favorite part. The stories of the impact our products and service has made on their lives and the lives of their family and friends.

Hearing loss

Hearing loss can happen to anyone. Today, more than 48 million Americans have some degree of hearing loss. There are three types of hearing loss: sensorineural, conductive and mixed hearing loss. While many elements can contribute to hearing loss, age and exposure to loud noise are the two most common. Signs of hearing loss include turning the TV volume up, difficulty hearing on the phone or asking people to repeat themselves. Luckily, hearing aids are a great treatment option for many.

Tinnitus

Do you hear buzzing, humming or ringing in the ears? You’re not alone. Nearly 10 to 15 percent of American adults have tinnitus. While most people experience moments or brief periods of hearing ringing in the ears at some time in their lives, some people experience tinnitus more regularly. Tinnitus is not a condition itself, but rather a symptom of another condition. 90 percent of people with tinnitus also have noise-induced hearing loss. The good news? Hearing aids can help.

Hearing aid repairs

Hearing aids are amazing devices—except when they’re not working properly. Just like other pieces of technology, they can sometimes experience technical issues. Luckily, our 3-year warranty* covers most hearing aid repairs. Repairs may be needed if troubleshooting your device hasn’t worked or your hearing aid has been physically damaged. The issue could be caused by one of a few things, including the internal tubing, microphone or case.

Hearing aid aftercare

At Miracle-Ear, we know that if we, together, take care of your hearing aid, it will take care of you. It's essential that your device functions properly and allows you to live life to the fullest. That's why we offer free lifetime service and hearing aid aftercare*. This includes clean and checks, adjustments, repairs and annual hearing tests.

*Miracle-Ear® lifetime aftercare not included with hearing aids purchased utilizing some insurance benefits.

Custom-fit

Our custom-fit hearing aids are molded to fit each person’s unique ear shape. Your hearing instrument specialist will take a mold of your ear while you're in the office. This is quick and painless! It will then get sent to the manufacturer, where your hearing aid will be created just for you. Custom-fit hearing aids are extremely comfortable, discreet and provide very natural sound quality.

Foundation

The Miracle-Ear Foundation provides hearing health care to children and adults with limited income and no other resources for hearing aids. We're proud that our hearing center participates in this amazing program, providing free hearing aids to those in need and continuing to support them through their hearing journey.
