Professional experience

I began my career with Miracle-Ear in 2003 opening the Cedar Rapids office. I began to add locations across Iowa and eventually eastern Nebraska and southern Minnesota. I currently own and operate 55 locations and employ 35 Hearing Instrument Specialists. I am a Board Certified Hearing Instrument Specialist, Past President of the Iowa Hearing Association and current Board Member as well I sit on the Miracle-Ear Product Committee Board and the Miracle-Ear Foundation Board.

I have been an employee with Miracle Ear since 2021. I am licensed by the State of Iowa for the Board of Hearing Aid Specialists. I am a member of the Iowa Hearing Association, and a member of the International Hearing Society. I am a recipient of the following awards, Rookie of the Year (2022), Employee of the Month (August, 2022), Copper Level Satisfaction Award (2023), and Copper Level Achievement Award (2023). I earned a BA from the University of Iowa in 2021.

Hearing loss can happen to anyone. Today, more than 48 million Americans have some degree of hearing loss. There are three types of hearing loss: sensorineural, conductive and mixed hearing loss. While many elements can contribute to hearing loss, age and exposure to loud noise are the two most common. Signs of hearing loss include turning the TV volume up, difficulty hearing on the phone or asking people to repeat themselves. Luckily, hearing aids are a great treatment option for many.

Do you hear buzzing, humming or ringing in the ears? You’re not alone. Nearly 10 to 15 percent of American adults have tinnitus. While most people experience moments or brief periods of hearing ringing in the ears at some time in their lives, some people experience tinnitus more regularly. Tinnitus is not a condition itself, but rather a symptom of another condition. 90 percent of people with tinnitus also have noise-induced hearing loss. The good news? Hearing aids can help.

Hearing aids are amazing devices—except when they’re not working properly. Just like other pieces of technology, they can sometimes experience technical issues. Custom-fit

Our custom-fit hearing aids are molded to fit each person’s unique ear shape. Your hearing instrument specialist will take a mold of your ear while you're in the office. This is quick and painless! It will then get sent to the manufacturer, where your hearing aid will be created just for you. Custom-fit hearing aids are extremely comfortable, discreet and provide very natural sound quality.
