Ann Hennessy has a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders & a Master's degree in Audiology, both from the University of Florida. Ann is also a CCC-A Member, ASHA Certified Member & IHS Certified Member
As a graduate student Ann worked in the VA and Shands Hospital, both in clinical and research roles. When she graduated, she completed a 3-month internship at Starkey Labs in Minnesota. Ann then joined a multiline, multi-office hearing aid center and worked in Jacksonville, Ormond Beach and Mount Dora, Florida. She then moved to Tallahassee and became a part of Miracle-Ear team. After working as a hearing care professional for 10 years she purchased the franchise and has been a franchise owner for over 10 years while continuing to see customers.
Ann's favorite part of working at Miracle-Ear is making a difference in people's lives. The area of audiology she’s most interested in is rehabilitation. The hearing aids are the tool, and the rehabilitation is the process that allows customers to reach their communication goals.
