Professional Experience

Leslie has been licensed as a Hearing Aid Specialist by the Florida Licensing Board within the Florida Department of Health since 2008. Leslie has been through extensive training with Miracle-Ear and has received her Miracle-Ear Professional Certification. She has also been trained in Live Speech Mapping, Real Ear Measurement, deep canal impressions, and is proficient with all Audiometric equipment to service your hearing needs.
Leslie has been in Florida since 1994 and married to her wonderful husband just as long. She has 2 amazing sons, a talented daughter-in-law, and a beautiful granddaughter. She loves paddle boarding, traveling, and helping shelter dogs find homes. Leslie has a real passion for helping others understand their hearing and help those with a hearing loss.

Hearing loss can happen to anyone. Today, more than 48 million Americans have some degree of hearing loss. There are three types of hearing loss: sensorineural, conductive and mixed hearing loss. While many elements can contribute to hearing loss, age and exposure to loud noise are the two most common. Signs of hearing loss include turning the TV volume up, difficulty hearing on the phone or asking people to repeat themselves. Luckily, hearing aids are a great treatment option for many.

Our custom-fit hearing aids are molded to fit each person’s unique ear shape. Your hearing instrument specialist will take a mold of your ear while you're in the office. This is quick and painless! It will then get sent to the manufacturer, where your hearing aid will be created just for you. Custom-fit hearing aids are extremely comfortable, discreet and provide very natural sound quality.
