I joined Miracle-Ear in 2007 and began training as a Hearing Instrument Specialist. I quickly recognized a passion for patients and a talent for leadership, so I began working toward business ownership, resulting in the acquisition of 4 locations in 2012. I have steadily grown my Miracle-Ear business to 21 locations across Michigan.

I have been with Miracle-Ear nearly 4 years in total. I started as a Front Office Assistant, then moved into a Training and Operations Manager, then into a Clinic Manager Role. My desire to learn has allowed me to continue to grow with the company and I have enjoyed each role! I have completed clinical training as well as currently work directly under our District Manager and Audioprosthologist, Justin Shaw, who has been training me on the job for over a year.

I am abundantly blessed with a wonderful husband and two beautiful children! Most days you will find us serving our local community or simply having a relaxing night at home together. We love spending our time playing outside on four wheelers, swimming, walking in the woods with our golden doodle, Piper, and jumping on the trampoline!

While many elements can contribute to hearing loss, age and exposure to loud noise are the two most common. Signs of hearing loss include turning the TV volume up, difficulty hearing on the phone or asking people to repeat themselves. Luckily, hearing aids are a great treatment option for many.

Tinnitus

Do you hear buzzing, humming or ringing in the ears? You’re not alone. Nearly 10 to 15 percent of American adults have tinnitus. While most people experience moments or brief periods of hearing ringing in the ears at some time in their lives, some people experience tinnitus more regularly. Tinnitus is not a condition itself, but rather a symptom of another condition. 90 percent of people with tinnitus also have noise-induced hearing loss. The good news? Hearing aids can help.

Hearing aids are amazing devices—except when they’re not working properly. Just like other pieces of technology, they can sometimes experience technical issues. Custom-fit

Our custom-fit hearing aids are molded to fit each person’s unique ear shape. Your hearing instrument specialist will take a mold of your ear while you're in the office. This is quick and painless! It will then get sent to the manufacturer, where your hearing aid will be created just for you. Custom-fit hearing aids are extremely comfortable, discreet and provide very natural sound quality.
