Peter Curlender, HAS

Professional Experience

Peter is Board Certified in Hearing Instrument Sciences and has been licensed as a Hearing Aid Specialist by the Florida Licensing Board within the Florida Department of Health. In addition, Peter has been through extensive training with Miracle-Ear and has received his Miracle-Ear Professional Certification. He has also been trained in Live Speech Mapping, Real Ear Measurement, deep canal impressions, and is proficient with all Audiometric equipment to service your needs.
Peter had his own successful travel company and has been a world traveler for many years. He especially remembers the exciting trip he had on the famed Orient Express train from Istanbul, Turkey to Paris, France. He still enjoys golf and a good game of bridge. Peter worked as an engineer in the U. K. for many years heading the maintenance division for CISS where he was responsible for the fail-safe operation of several large computer rooms.
Since he has been working with the hearing impaired for several years, he has become an expert at programming highly complex hearing instruments and enjoys the challenges of getting people to hear at the very best of their abilities. Peter is dedicated to providing his patients with excellent care and has been recognized with the Professional of the Year Award and the Superior Customer Satisfaction Award.

Sean is licensed as a Hearing Aid Specialist by the Florida Licensing Board within the Florida Department of Health. He has been through extensive training with Miracle-Ear and has received his Miracle-Ear Professional Certification. Sean is a proud graduate of Florida State University. Outside of his career in Hearing Healthcare, he has also worked as an EMT. In his spare time, Sean enjoys traveling, boating, watching college football, and spending time with his two beautiful daughters.

While most people experience moments or brief periods of hearing ringing in the ears at some time in their lives, some people experience tinnitus more regularly. Tinnitus is not a condition itself, but rather a symptom of another condition. 90 percent of people with tinnitus also have noise-induced hearing loss. The good news? Hearing aids can help.

Hearing aids are amazing devices—except when they’re not working properly. Just like other pieces of technology, they can sometimes experience technical issues. That's why we offer free lifetime service and hearing aid aftercare*. This includes clean and checks, adjustments, repairs and annual hearing tests.

Custom-fit

Our custom-fit hearing aids are molded to fit each person’s unique ear shape. Your hearing instrument specialist will take a mold of your ear while you're in the office. This is quick and painless! It will then get sent to the manufacturer, where your hearing aid will be created just for you. Custom-fit hearing aids are extremely comfortable, discreet and provide very natural sound quality.

Foundation

The Miracle-Ear Foundation provides hearing health care to children and adults with limited income and no other resources for hearing aids. We're proud that our hearing center participates in this amazing program, providing free hearing aids to those in need and continuing to support them through their hearing journey.
